How It All
Started
Dr Eldimarys Curry-Machado has over twenty years of clinical experience, primarily as a general practitioner. She also holds a Masters in Aesthetic Medicine, from the Universidad de las Islas Baleares, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain – a leading centre in the development of aesthetic medicine theory and practice; and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology from Queen Mary University, London. Dr Curry-Machado is fully registered with the GMC to practice medicine in the UK, and is a member of the BMA and an associate fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Curry-Machado is full Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and the Royal Society of Medicine.

Over the last few years, medical aesthetics has grown and developed into a specialised form of advanced clinical skin-health care. On the one hand, it may be introduced with preventative medical intentions, such as in the treatment of overweight and obesity. On the other hand, medical aesthetics can be used for cosmetic purposes, such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, schlerotherapy, hyperhidrosis, and chemical skin peels. Aesthetic medicine enables both women and men to have a choice in how they manage and address a variety of skin conditions without the use of surgery – avoiding its high costs and the risks involved.
